He serves as the Sr. Director & Head of the Department of Surgery & Robotics at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi, where he has been redefining surgical excellence and patient care for over a decade.

A trailblazer in minimal access and robotic surgery in India, Dr. Vashistha has earned prestigious recognition of “Centre of Excellence” for Hernia Surgeries by the Hernia Society of India (HSI). His expertise spans bariatric surgeries, advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgeries for gallbladder, hernia, appendix, reflux disease, colorectal disorders, and solid organ conditions.

As an academician and mentor, he has organized landmark conferences including ROBOLAPCON, FALS Hernia 2023, and India’s first-ever tele-robotic surgery at FALS Robotics 2025. He is frequently invited globally as guest faculty at national & international conferences.
